Flip Flash Cards Pty Ltd (FFC) recreational SCUBA Learning Aids have been created around the concept and format of flash card with the aim of making safe SCUBA diving more accessible to the general public. Our product has been designed to help make diving more attractive to people and to encourage them to follow through on their initial interest by enrolling in a professional diving course. Our Learning Aids do this by making prospective divers more comfortable with the learning process they need to complete in order to obtain certification and take part in the wonderful world of recreational diving.
FFC’s flash card format has been researched and designed to stimulate memory and memory retention, thereby building student confidence and helping them to retain the key safety points needed to become safe divers. This has the added benefit of also boosting your duty of care as a dive training centre or dive school.
FFC’s SCUBA Learning Aids can also assist companies, resorts and charter operators who cater to certified divers who have been absent from the sport for some time. The Learning Aids provide these divers with a series of questions and answers designed to refresh their knowledge of key information prior to performing a dive, placing a duty of care on the diver. Dive instructors can even use the SCUBA Learning Aids to build student confidence during pre-dive instruction.
There are three SCUBA Learning Aids, available for Beginners, Refreshers and in a specialised Hand Signals version. The Learning Aids have been produced in both a printed flash cards format and in an electronic format as iPhone and iPad Apps. The printed cards come in handy pocket-sized packs of 50, similar to a pack of playing cards.
