FFC Dive Learning Aids for Dive Companies Placing Safety Training First.
Flip Flash Cards Pty Ltd (FFC) would like to introduce you to the Ultimate Learning Aid for the International Commercial Diving Industry (ICDI), an industry where high standards of training are of the utmost importance.
FFC has created a series of Dive Learning Aids in a flash card format, which cover five subject categories relating to training and knowledge that is essential and often mandatory for personnel in the dive industry.
The flash cards use a question and answer format and incorporate both Imperial and Metric conversions as well as relevant equations. They enable divers and support personnel to study, work and advance within the world of International Commercial Diving.
Businesses and companies involved in commercial diving are required to maintain a high standard of training and ongoing training of their personnel. Records of on-site training and drills are also essential to comply with contractor’s audits of competency covering diving systems and personnel management. Despite this, there has been ongoing concern within the diving industry worldwide over the low number of personnel progressing through the industry over the past 10 years, as well as the reduced number of younger divers receiving training. Many major dive institutions have commented on the lack of skilled divers and support personnel entering or progressing through the ICDI.
FFC’s management, which hails from the marine and dive sector, is keen to promote the industry and encourage new people into the ICDI. As such, we have developed an innovative new Dive Learning Aid in a flash card format. The Learning Aid set contains 400 flash cards, which take a modern approach to learning whilst providing a valuable tool that allows staff to refresh and increase their knowledge of Dive Math’s, Dive Physics, Dive General Knowledge, Dive Medical and Dive Legislation.
The cards were specifically researched and designed by FFC to increase memory retention through question and answer session. They are ideal for use in the work place and encourage interaction between staff members who can challenge and test each other’s knowledge. This technique helps bond teams and create safer, more skilled work forces that have confidence in each other and their respective duties.
FFC is committed to develop, support and encourage study within the ICDI to ensure the workplace is a safe working environment for all, both today and into the future.
